Frederick Concrete Company provides concrete contracting services in Frederick, MD and surrounding areas, including but not limited to driveway installation, patio construction, foundation work, flatwork, decorative concrete, and related services. All services are subject to a written estimate and signed agreement prior to commencement of work.
All estimates provided by Frederick Concrete Company are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. An estimate is not a guaranteed final price until both parties have signed a written service agreement. If unforeseen site conditions are discovered during work (such as unstable subgrade, buried obstructions, or utility conflicts), we will notify you before proceeding and provide a revised estimate for your approval.
We do not charge for on-site estimates. Requesting an estimate does not create any obligation to hire us.
Project start dates are subject to weather conditions, permit timelines, and material availability. We will provide reasonable notice of any scheduling changes. If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or mobilization has begun may result in charges for costs already incurred.
Payment terms will be specified in your written service agreement. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. All invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Overdue balances may accrue interest at the rate permitted by Maryland law. Frederick Concrete Company reserves the right to suspend work on projects with outstanding overdue balances.
Where required by local ordinance, Frederick Concrete Company will apply for and obtain necessary building permits before beginning work. Permit fees are typically included in the project estimate or billed at cost. The homeowner or property owner is responsible for ensuring that any required HOA approvals or community association permissions are obtained prior to the project start date.
Frederick Concrete Company stands behind its workmanship. If a defect in workmanship is identified within one year of project completion, we will return to assess and address it at no additional charge. This warranty covers workmanship only and does not cover damage caused by settling, ground movement, extreme weather events, improper use, or failure to follow our care and maintenance instructions.
Concrete is a natural material that will develop minor surface cracking over time. Hairline cracks resulting from normal curing and seasonal expansion and contraction are not covered under this warranty. We will explain what to expect during your final project walkthrough.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frederick Concrete Company's total liability for any claim arising from a project or from use of this Site shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including lost profits or property damage beyond the scope of the contracted work.

If a dispute arises between you and Frederick Concrete Company related to services or these Terms, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Frederick, MD, administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be conducted in the courts of Frederick County, Maryland.
